The Purpose and Leadership Forum changed my life and how I viewed God and how I understood the concept of salvation. I am forever grateful for the experience and the family that I have gotten through the platform. I am constantly motivated and pushed to do and be better, not only for myself but for generations to come.

A chance encounter with a PLF alumnus in the course of my work, opened the door to PLF for me. Through PLF I have grown immensely in my spiritual life. I have learned to apply Kingdom principles in my business and in how I live with others as written in Colossians 3:2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. I have learnt to practice Kingdom excellence but most of all, I have encountered the spirit of God in a powerful way and I am now grounded and settled in the way I live my life.

The PLF journey has been extremely life changing for me and my family. I have gained spiritual maturity, (especially through the Intercessory ministry), I have been pointed to my purpose which is still unfolding, I have learnt to serve with excellence. I sum it up with John 15:1-17, emphasis 1-5 that speaks about Christ being the vine and the value of staying connected to the vine to bear fruit.

My Purpose and Leadership Forum experience affirmed that I was created to play a part in establishing God’s Kingdom on earth. Through PLF I have learnt and understood the intersection between my gifting, my anointing and my place in Gods ultimate plans. I have also learned about the value of finding one’s purpose and working it out in a community of faith.

The Purpose and Leadership Forum (PLF) for me, marks the practical beginning of my faith journey. It has helped me unpack exactly what salvation is as well as what the gift of a personal relationship with Jesus can be. See, I had been brought up knowing about God; looking back however, I realize that although I knew about God, I did not really know Him. PLF also helped me get into my purpose and understanding who I am and where I fit based on what God knows about me and the purpose He has for me.

The Purpose and Leadership Forum for me was a journey of greater self-discovery and greater God-discovery. I would describe PLF as a beautiful and unexpected ‘divine interruption’ for me. PLF caused me to re-evaluate, refocus and reprioritize, the things that are important to me. At the same time PLF gave me an opportunity to use my gifts and talents in the service of others for the fulfilment of Kingdom purpose.

The theme of The Purpose and Leadership Forum Season 25 was Trained and Armed to Occupy. This was a life changing experience for me and my family. God re-affirmed me; who I am and whose I am. God opened my eyes to the gifts he put in me long ago and activated them; God gave me a new hunger and thirst for him. Two years on and my faith and life journey trajectory is not the same, I am not the same, my family is not the same.

I came into The Purpose and Leadership Forum, feeling lost and tired after having been through so much. I was just looking for something that could help me make sense of where I was. Going through the PLF program, I felt I had found the jackpot. I have learned a lot about myself and my relationship with God. I was able to know and understand whose I am and why I am. Now I am living out my vision and purpose with the confidence of one who knows her redeemer lives
